The Hawkins family--Matt, Shannon and their six daughters--live in Modesto, California. Matt is a trial lawyer who grew up in southern Georgia. Shannon is from London. Here we see the entire wedding party, including both sets of parents, the bride's five sisters and four of Jack's boyhood friends, at the reception at the "Lion House"--former home to several of Brigham Young's wives and now a favorite location for wedding receptions in downtown Salt Lake.

We used Jack's wedding as an excuse for a family reunion. For those who don't know them so well, here is the run-down: Ben, our oldest, and his wife Crystal are on the left. Their three children--Ian, Elizabeth (yellow dress) and Wade (9, glasses) are nearby. To Ben's left is Nathan, holding Michael (1) with Nikole in front of them. Their daughter Haley (7, glasses) is in front of Wade. Their oldest, Nate, is the tall boy (glasses) on the front row, far right. Nate's younger brother, Andy, is second from Nate's right (between Marilyn & Miriam--see below). Joanna, Jack, Marilyn and me you know. Behind and to my left is Nick (the ball player) standing in front of Miriam, his wife. She has hold of Maxwell, their youngest. Their daughter, Katie, is standing to the left of Haley, and to her left is Jack, Nick's and Miriam's oldest. (We're almost finished!) To Nick's left is Jim Campbell, husband to Meredith, our only daughter, who is holding Wesley, her son and our youngest (for the time being) grandchild. Meredith and Jim have two other sons--Luke, who is standing to the right of Andy, and Tag being held by Marilyn.
Whew!
There will be a closed-book test tomorrow morning.
